Welcome to the NMO's forum for health care providers. Whether you call it “Morgellons disease”, “Fiber disease”, “Elliot’s disease” or by some other name, this portion of the website is for all clinicians who treat or otherwise have an interest in this disease. The target group includes physicians, nurse practitioners, and PA’s. In addition, as we have such scant knowledge about treating this disease, we welcome alternative medical care providers to share their perspective and experience.
Entry to this part of the NMO website will be password protected and not available to the public. This is to allow frank clinical discussions without the concern that anyone would 'self treat' based on the information posted.
We hope scientific and clinical research will soon give us information about Morgellons. Until such time as that happens, anecdotal information from experienced clinicians is the best guidance we have! I hope you will be a part of this effort. Please feel free to invite other clinicians with an interest in Morgellons to join this discussion group.
